So I know this is not motocross, and not two stroke, but after a long and trying day, I was trying to get my wife and kid out of the room for some cave time so I turned on Motors TV and they had on Road Racing. Not being a big fan, I still knew the wife would find dishes, laundry etc. to do and the kid would shut up because it was "motos" so I left it on.

First thing I really noticed was how small they were so I thought maybe it was the 125 GP's. Then they started talking about the leader, Miguel Duhamel. I thought, this must be OLD! But then a crazy thing. I tried to turn up the TV to drown out the noise coming from the kitchen and only the talking heads voices got louder. No scream of 60+HP 125's. And look no smoke coming from nonexistant tail pipes! TTXGP is eBikes!

The racing was pretty good and the grey haired and slighly over weight Duhamel still kicks ass. Zongchen, the Chinese motorcycle company had several bikes and were doing extremely well but used up the battery and faded, as did several other teams.

I know what you are saying, but I think it is cool. And as for not having enough battery, it is no different than restricted fuel racing (F1, IndyCar, MotoGP, ect.). It was also great to see the #17 winning a race again!

I grew up in the shadow of the long defunct Westwood racetrack here in B.C. and recall the scream of Steve Baker's TZs, trust me, the noise is everything!
