Sweet. The plywood airplane.I always loved these. The local air base has a small museum and has the remains of a mosquito merlin that crashed here sitting off to one side.I found it too cool to be able to look at it up close and lay my hands on it.The girls didn't really see the appeal though. :(

I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

Here in Canada we are in the middle of a mess the federal government has created regarding the potential purchase of F35 jet fighters from the U.S.. Some Canadian business men have suggested resurrecting a state of the art Avro Arrow instead, flawed idea or home grown alternative?

The Arrow eh?Now there's a story to make your blood boil ><img src=" title="Angry" class="smiley"> I'd vote to bring it back-and then go bomb Dief's grave. ;)

Mosquito...

CBC did a good Arrow movie a number of years ago that's worthwhile watching if anyone gets a chance.
Arrow homepage.....http://www.avro-arrow.org/index.html

The F-35 is just another of our "whatever the Americans do must be best for us too" mentality-much like the Arrow.

The guys in Ottawa would rather sell black muck to the Chinese than foster Canadian innovation.

In the centre of Nanton, Alberta there is a Lancaster bomber parked out in the open.
