So Canada tied Japan. It's a shame they couldn't convert anything.Regardless,as Japan was barely rated above them and have never won a game I guess that counts for something ::)
Anyhoo, that was just a warm up before they trounce New Zealand  :D
They were talking about it on the radio here the other day and said Canada has 3 players who make a living at it-the rest are part timers who have day jobs.I'm betting the 3 are NZ/Aus players.
Come on TMKIWI-you're right there-chuck some ringers on the Canadian team for chrisakes :)
I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

It's a pity the goal kicker was shit. The first choice kicker went off injured.
It was a bloody good game to watch and was just a pity for the canadians their kicks didnt go over.
Was probably a fair result tho.
I am not sure if there are any kiwis/Aussies in the team ( Probably is ) but there are a couple of South Africans..
Did you notice the names of some of the Japanese players. James Arlidge , Michael Leitch , M Williams . :o
Very Japanese. ;)
9 Kiwis in the team.
You guys don't need a bunch of has been/Never will be Kiwis & Aussies.
You just need a few of your players to get contracts in Europe and the standard will get better.
Your 13 & 15 will be a good start. ;D
If you don't fall off you are not going hard enough

They should have stopped the game after 5 min so Canada could win.
Failing that, the mercy rule should have kicked in later on :(

Just got back. Was a great weekend.
Sorry but no such thing as a mery rule. ;)
Went to the game with a couple of Canadian guys I played rugby with back in BC 20 years ago.
Was good catching up after all these years.
The game result was never going to mean much to both teams.
I sugested the teams sit down on half way and have a "boat race" to determine the winner. ;D
