A yamaha dealer has a full page ad listing thier hot sales on new dirt bikes.
2011 YZ 125 reg 6090.00 sale 5599.00
2011 YZ 250 reg 6990.00 sale 6299.00
2011 YZF 450 reg 7499.00 sale 5499.00
They also sell 2011 KXF 450 reg 7549.00 sale 5799.00
So I guess 6 year old tech is still worth more than the current state of the art
4 joke.....

I think 4 stroke dirtbikes are a phase, kind of like "Glam Rock" in a way. You see the whole world subscribing to it, and you wonder how everyone could be choking down so much Kool Aid and Spam... Then 10 Years later, nothing's left but the timeless stuff from before and after..

Was just at my dealer today and saw the first 250 2 stroke I've seen at that place since 2006. Only 1, but the price tag was $7599. A tad steep. I bought my 05 new from them for 5300 out the door and a 125 same trip for 4900... Just good seeing them have one for sale again...

The Wisconsin auto& rv paper doesn,t have the low prices on cool cars, like Mi. Oh. and In. does. I like that when people take a copy to unusual places. The cost of used farm tractors is really high now, crazy what they want for a old farmal.

We just got a KTM250 at my local shop 4 days ago... It was gone 3 days ago.
They have had the KTM four strokes for about 2 months. They still have their KTM four strokes.
