1997 Suzuki RM125
« on: July 16, 2011, 05:04:22 AM »
1997 Suzuki RM125 for sale. Reason for sale is Zach decided he wants a dual sport. I recently rebuilt this bike with new crank bearings, crank seals, piston, ring, pin, clips, all new gaskets. I serviced the power valve while it was apart also. The front wheel bearings and throttle tube are new also. It has Applied Racing top triple clamp and Pro taper bars (Thanks to Charles!), Hot Rods crank, Pro circuit pipe, Bill's shorty silencer, V-force reed block with carbon reeds. The bike cosmetically needs some love, but mechanically it's sound. I think Zach rode it 2-3 times since I rebuilt it, he is just too busy with football and why he asked if he could get d/s bike so he can at least ride to practice.

Bike is in Acme, PA 15610. I do not have the title for this dirt bike.

Price is $700. Stock top triple and clamps for 7/8" bars included.

Thanks. I had a bunch of inquiries today. One guy is coming in the morning from 2 hrs away and he seems serious, but you never know.

I am surprised about how many people tried to talk me down without ever seeing the bike or hearing it run. I know everybody tries to get a deal, but usually it's best until you see the bike, at least in my opinion. Because my idea and their idea of what constitutes good shape could be two totally different things LOL.

The best were some kid tried to trade me a go-cart and xbox 360 and then another kid said he is getting a job soon and asked if I would hold it until he saves up the money, haha.
