I'm kind of beginning to believe it... (not about the CR's though) because I don't see nearly as many Suzuki cars as I see Honda cars out and about. I see a lot more Honda products in general, this would mean that motocross is a bigger chunk of the budget for Suzuki than it is for Honda. And if they decide that two strokes will give them that boost they will sure as heck bring them right back. But this leaves the question; what about Kawasaki? I see very very few Kawasaki products. Motocross has to be a larger chunk of the budget for Kawasaki than it is for Suzuki... So Kawasaki should be the ones bringing it back first, or they have just concluded to themselves that they will not profit from bringing back the smokers. Therefor if Suzuki does do it, Kawasaki will follow, and hopefully Honda will eventually come back as well. All we really need though, is Yamaha to update their bikes. They will sell like crack. The domino's are set.

There is a big difference between Kawasaki & Suzuki.
Suzuki is a Motor Company making Cars, Bikes & Motors. It is what they do & how they make a profit.

Kawasaki is a Heavy Industry Company making Trains , Ships & Aerospace equipment.
The motorcycle side of the business is very small part of the company and not where they make most of their money.

So it would make more sense for Suzuki to release a 2 stroke if it will improve there bottom line.
It is not as important for Kawasaki.

Heres a link to Kawasaki Heavy Industries.

 I asked the question yesterday on Suzuki's facebook. 2012 RM125 and 250.
They have not answered it. Wonder why.

Bits of everything. My daughter had a set of Kawasaki walkie/talkies and a buddy has a Kawasaki car stereo.
I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

this would be very cool, as this would put pressure on Honda and Kawasaki to produce 2t's again. However, is this rumor valid? There is another thread with people that were told that Suzuki was bailing on 2t's?

Hello. Yes i wrote that topic about two stroke Suzuki. I'm not 100% sure what is happening or has already occurred. But somehow i start to believe what Finland's distributor told me about future of two stroke Suzuki.

Let's all hope so!  I have been a dedicated RM 250 rider for over 20 years.  Even if they released it with zero changes it would still be completely competitive.  Once you get these bikes dialed in there is not much else to do except ride and maintain.  Like most bikes these days the bikes usually have much more potential that the rider sitting on them... myself included! ;D

I haven't really heard much about Suzuki revamping the RM. I've heard they are discontinuing it :( I'm really hoping they keep the bike alive.
