I got a message earlier today from him. I didnt know about the tornado or I would have made sure everything was ok.

I got an e-mail from him this morning. Nothing appeared to be wrong. Right now he is running errands haha.

he's fine...he was actually down at NCMP when the storms hit. NC got hit harder than VA but luckily it seemed to pass by NCMP all together.  Now as for TSM headquarters in VA, well the power went out. the water went out then came back brown mud out the faucets and the thunder was shaking everything off the walls.  But no permanant damage in either state for tsm.  we were lucky this time.   :-*

I drove down from NY back to FL and went through NC on Sunday. We saw a trailer park first that was smoked. Later there was a spot where the tornado went across 95. So sad, the loss of life and homes. From our short observations we saw neighbors helping neighbors, as it should be.

My Parents live in North Carolina, they got hit really hard. No damage to my parents house, but lots of homes and businesses destroyed or damaged. Their church is providing refuge and supplies to people in the community who got hit! My Dad was on his way to NCMP when my Mom called and told him about the Tornado Warnings. So he didn't get to ride that day, Good thing too! :o

Wow, that sounds like crazy weather.  I think I'll stick to Oregon's brand of crazy weather, which consists of driving rain then glorious sunshine, alternating back and forth every half hour for about two months.

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?

jetz i would take oregon weather any day too. my grandmother has a home in grants pass right on the river and i miss it so much. she lives in virginia now with my parents. im hoping to take a vacation out there really soon.  But yeah the whole rain and sun thing. even the snow in the winter beats out the humidity, hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, and floods that seem to plague va....oh and the snow storms the past few years.  Ytf am i still here????
