Tire changing tips

I ran across some good tire changing tips (with a video) on Motorcycle-USA.com and figured that it might help out the next time anyone needs to replace the rubber on there bike. Enjoy.

Cool.My CRF riding buddy has the best method though.He brings his tire and rim over to me

You are good at changing tires?? Hmmm... when can I come over? I have a few to change!

I don't know that I'm all that good at it  but what makes it relatively painless for me is the fact that a few years ago I built a stand that supports the wheel on the bearings which allows me to spin it around and work at it from a standing position.As for changing yours,no problem.You just need to bring them over with the rims attached to the bike as I like to test ride anything I change for a month or so-just to make sure they're properly seated and not going to move on the rim of course

Yeah but by the time your done testing, it'll need another set of tires!!

That's a good looking stand,it's certainly more fancy than mine though mine never cost me much of anything as I made it up at work.The big thing is to get it up off the ground at a good working height and not have the tire resting on anything.
