I'm gonna need some pro help here... I'm not very good at starts. What's proper technique?
its a dirt pad start...
My main problem is that I can't hear my bike over the 250f's. I have to feel it to know where my rpm's are.
also...
Do I hold the throttle mostly open and use the clutch to control drive?
Or do I hold it halfway then when the gate drops hammer the throttle and feather the clutch?
Where is the best place to sit? I'm about 125 lbs. The bike is a 125.

Technical / Getting the bike ready for 2011

It has not been serviced for about 15-25 hours of riding (other than the air filter, oil, and just lubing the chain), I just got some extra cash. What's the best I can do for my bike with $200 to get it ready for 2011?
Oh and I want a black tank to go with my new graphics but I cant afford one, how good would black plastic spray paint work? Another option I have is some black FX backgrounds.
