Cable stretcher..what are you doing on a GSX-R? Be a man..go get the 10-r! But I like the new BMW.. I run the same tires BTW on my sportbike!

Actually the GSX-R is for sale I am wanting to get a skid steer to build a track at my house.  I do like the new BMW, that thing is sexy and with traction control, stability control, and (rumor) when released up to 17k put out 222hp on all the stock componets all for mid teens $$$.

Sorry I was being a Smart... , Pilot Power is what I have on my gsxr it's a street tire.

I usually run the 756 (now replaced by the 51) on everything, I just adjust how I ride depending on how much traction I am getting but I also dont mind sliding a little either.

Cool four wheeler!

.02  its not good to let a 2t idle, it allows fuel to pool in the lower end and can cause it to fatten up/foul plugs/flood.

Oh yeah, I watched Jame's so called apology, "like I was like trying to avoid hitting windam (which he did in the main) and thats what caused my first wreck, it was really no ones fault"  "I might of over reacted and let my emotions get the best of me when I went into reeds pits and """bumped""" over his bike, that was the first time that I have ever done that" (BS)

That video is exactly what I am talking about.  Privateers in the eyes of the AMA are less than the dirt (or in his case the pavement) that they ride on.  Here is a fun fact that the AMA doesn't pay attention to, that privateer paid the same entry fee that the factory rider did, and most of the time it came out of that privateers own pocket not some huge corprate fund that they will write off as advertising when it comes time for taxes.

The rider should have put a wrench to that jerks head, it would have been his last race but one of the most satisfying too.

Thanks for the interview, it sounds like he is a really down to earth racer.  I was intrested in what he had to say about racing in the US.

I am thankful that our series is not under the AMA, I love to race but I will not give the American Mafia Association one penny of my money.  They have been currupted for as long as I have been involved with MX.  The sadest part is how they treat privateers and that the poor privateers are so blinded by the excitement that they are PRO riders that they dont even see it.  I also enjoy how it was not even a issue that James knocked over Chads bike in the pits.  If that had been a privateer or anyone else and it had been J$'s bike they would have been band for life.  That child can slam into Kevin or whoever he wants and there is not a word said but let someone start to give some of wat he is serving and oh no they are just out to get him.

.......... I'm stepping off of my soap box, sorry for the rant.

First of all.. Nowadays tracks are way more technical than the past..

You need to take a look at some of the mid-early 90's sx races.  The tracks today have ramps not jumps the tracks today have rolling braking bumps not pizza slice, do or die, cant roll them cause you would high center WHOOPS!

I remember going to sx in the early 90's and you would be hard pressed to crawl up a jump much less walk up it.  This change happened in the early 2000's because a certain up and comer couldn't time a jump to save his life but he can twist the trottle just fine, until he hits the ground.  The ama wants their to be a "super star" to do to the sport what McGrath did.

yeah, thats about the same here with the addition of a "special" transmision coating and only 1 base gasket.  I am running the yz piston as well.  We are still using the mikuni for now (but we haven't got it tuned in quite right yet he was at the track with me on sun and mon), we also put in a power now, and a v-force 3.

OK, got it together this weekend, worked on it till 3am saturday and then until 1am on sunday, got to ride it sunday and monday.  I took it out to the track on sunday ran it through 3 heat cycles changed the jetting and BRRAAAAAAAPPP!!!!!  This thing is a POWERHOUSE!!!  The pull is unbelivable, (just so we are clear I am no where near the rider he is but) there was a canidae kawasaki rider there on monday and I was able to pull him up the finish line hill!  I still have the old plastics on it and have not yet had the suspension done, hopefully we can work it in this week or next.  I will try and get some more pics up.

Voted!  I don't think that the results are "interesting" I think they are Fact, two strokes are more fun and most riders/racers think that the way the AMA has been running things is bogus.
