If there is a vintage motocross movement in your state, They should have a board on the internet were they congregate. That is were you will find the guys in your local who can help and be trusted. It's the old farts who have been down the road, Some things in life never change.

As long as the economy keeps sucking, which it is. the fallout is things and toys like MX racing are and will be taking a hit. And TSM benefits from that big time in finding a top 10 rider. Just look at Andrew Short who is a top 10 in both Indoor and outdoor and ended up with KTM his third team this season because of the teams crashing out of funds. You don't like to see it, But it benefits the whole two stroke agenda which we all know. I say Will Hahn out of Texas who races both 2 and 4 stroke.

I'm not speaking for vintage at all, But I've did the r/c RC stuff in almost all facets. If he was talking about brushed motors that was a while ago but that would apply. But the folks in the R/C world that are pushing the envelope in electric are the airplane folks who are flying R/C jets and are knocking on the door of repl
acing turbines not on the small scale which has done. But on the the large scale. Big and heavy jets.
There issue is not the motors at all now, It's the ESC's that do the switching of the current from the battery to the motor giving it a smooth spool up. And they have a lot of issues with the high end units which would translate to the motorcycle and if there is jamming or to much bogging those current spikes big time and fries the controller. Those babies cost and I would be interested in knowing how much the controller on that Bike costs to replace besides the battery which has it's limiting virtues and there is not much on the horizon for replacing the lipo batterys and making the next big jump.

They could at least bring the motor up to   KTM 250Sx   standards.

I  think the whole issue is a bunch of crap and the real question was never asked and responded to, that is most people are unhappy wth you on the two stroke front because we don't see any true R@D on the two stroke motor as it sits.it seems that you Mr KTM put all your RD into the four strokes while just playing both sides of the fence and doing nothing to the two strokes. what say ye

I hope it not eitheir the guy did great and when I see that he qualified ahead of Chad reed and Jake weimer it's pretty cool. Well if he is out for the remainder there are a lot of good riders available, Seeing that the economy sucks.Well the TSM guys have put in great effort and I'm sure that they'll be able to pickup some very good riders especially after showing the the Bikes are the real deal.

In all honesty don't you think you're really not going to know unless you have a current top 10 or 20 rider switch to riding a twostroke. How are you to know other wise unless the above riders were all proven pro riders on 4 strokes. It sure seems that folks in Australia and new zealand are able to lay it down against the 450's. Even the TSM rlders who are going to be on the SX 250's are not magically going to do better than they would on a 450. have any of these tsm riders got into the top 40 at a national recently?

I agree on her speed, how do you explain her starts, it looks like she is 2nd or 3rd in her starts. if she was so underpowered on a 125 she would be getting killed on the starts and any corner advantage she has by her skill would be lost on those long portions of the track.
