General Two Stroke Talk / blew it up again, no good!

well this saturday i destroyed a motor for the 3rd time in 2 years.

as much as i love 2 strokes everytime it blows up it costs 1000 to rebuild it. thats not that much less then a 4stroke.

for some reason it always destroys the cylinder.

just letting out some news on a bike my friend (Trevor Ivey) recently bought a week or so ago...

well wile he was living in cali for the past 3 months his buddy has been training for supercross with the motoconcepts team. well before he left, he bought cedrics YZ250 that he was supposed to race in supercross. over the weekend it was at the track, its such a cool bike. he didnt end up racing the bike because he said it was still setup for supercross.

rebuilt my 250 today mostly all by myself! i was amazed at how easy it is to really do a 2stroke! haha ive watched my dad and everything but i had a lot of fun today putting my bike together. Bike is ready for the weekend. First actual big pro race this weekend. Cant wait. BRAAAAAAAAP

i was out training with the well known Lance Smail last thursday, we got to bench talkin about 2 strokes. He told me that honda will have a 2012 cr250. im not sure how true this is but i do trust his word, coming from an old national pro who has alot of connections. im pumped if its true.

Cedric was testing out at milestone today riding SX, crashed in a rythem section and injured both elbows. Xrays show no broken bones. We could not see the 2stroke until LA.

well next weekend is the washougal national... i plan on racing amateur days and this year its a retro race. so i would like to buy some retro gear, i would personally like the bright retro gear (axo, oneal, fox, msr, jt..ext.). if any of you guys would like to sell your retro gear i would be glad to buy some. i need a size 34 or bigger. thanks guys

General Two Stroke Talk / 2011 ktm's

i weigh 200 pounds and im 6 foot. i race the intermediate class and plan to go pro at the end of the year.

yesterday i got a chance to ride all of the 2011 ktm's. the bikes were so awesome. my favorite for of the day had to be the 150 though. the little 150 pulled me around the track like it was nothing... it was probably the third fastest bike they have.... i rode the 250f and it was a slug, i was actually quiet disappointed on how slow it felt. i was nearly blown away at how fast the 150 was. i still am!!! i personally think it could easily beat there 250f and alot of other brand 250f's...

i dont mind racing 4strokes, so im not going to say that any of them truly suck.... but i would love to see 2 strokes come back no matter what, i personally think i ride the 2stroke better...

now the other favorite bike of the day had to go to the new ktm 350... this bike was awesome.. the throttle response was perfect, engine was very strong off the bottom and pulled all the way through the power. never once felt like i had to shift. when riding it felt pretty flick able like a 250f but had the power of a 450. the bike felt super stable, never once felt like it was going wash out or do something weird.

seriously though. the magazines are going to love these new bikes

Hey, my name is Josh. Im 18 and i live in WA state. I currently race 250B and 450B. last year i went to Loretta's as an alternate in 450b mod but unfortunately i didnt get to race. :'(
At the end of last year i got to big for a 250f and decided to buy a 250 2stroke for the 250B class. I ended up getting a 07 ktm 250.
