Photos & Videos / Finnish Team Championship video
« on: October 06, 2011, 06:51:04 AM »
Hey!

My newest video, filmed some footage from Finnish Team Championship race. That means that different clubs all over Finland put their best riders in the team, like a club MXDN lol.

I pretty much film at the races when I'm not racing myself, it's pretty nice kinda side hobby.

General Two Stroke Talk / Poll: Chest protection
« on: August 23, 2011, 05:46:40 AM »
Hi all. This obviously has nothing to do with two strokes, and this have been asked on every imaginable dirt bike forum for at least 1000 times... But still it seems like many people are wondering this.

So whats your personal opinion/choice on chest protection? Nowadays, I pretty much do wear chest protection all the time, but sometimes I just feel better riding without it or using just a roost protection. If its hot, I'm riding without it, but if I'm riding in the woods or regular MX in normal conditions, I'm most likely wearing my chest protector.

And other thing which I've noticed is, that when riders become PRO (especially in USA) they stop wearing chest protection. OR, many riders will run one in Nationals, but when SX comes up, they say bye bye to chest protection. I consider PRO racing more dangerous than amateur racing, and I also think that SX has bit more risk in it than Nationals so that seems kinda weird...

Anyway I would like to hear your opinions about using/not using chest protection, and what kind of protection are you guys wearing. Peace!

Photos & Videos / Me on my two-stroke, no music!

Hey, this is from last weekend's race here in Finland from Jämsä. It was MXB class race, and I raced my RM 250 there. It was a horrible day racing wise for me lol, but in the end I had fun and that's the most important thing.

Jämsä MXB 2011

Just put this one together real quick, with no music or not any effects actually. Felt like something really simple would be good with this. And talking about gnarly European tracks, you guys should come here to try our GNARLY tracks out! This track everything from Lommel-like sand to completely hardpacked soil, mixed with some rocks, ruts, steep jumps and very, very sharp bumps. Anyway, I hope you like this!

I try to keep videos coming and get better at editing and filming!

General Two Stroke Talk / ISDE - International Six Days Enduro
« on: August 09, 2011, 12:20:08 PM »
It's on right now! Links, photos and videos under this topic. I was there on the opening day on Monday, spotted some pretty cool two-stroke bikes beside all the other cool stuff, like Fantic 300cc rode by Italian Trophy Team member Maurizio Micheluz. Looked pretty sweet!

The results coming into this morning were:
1. Finland
2. Spain
3. Australia
4. USA
5. Italy

Wish we Finns can keep up this pace and stay out of trouble, victory on our home soil would be sweet ;) I have a video of Day 1 in progress, going to post it here when its ready.

Hi guys!

Couple laps with my RM 250 at the local track. The track was pretty dusty, slippery and rocky but I had a good time there!

Motocross mm 500cc ruskeasanta 1992.2erä.

I mean... Look at that. 500cc two strokes, 40min +2lap motos... Those guys were the real deal, damn I wish MX was still like that. That makes the guys of today look like little-pinky-sissy-boys. And the track is the legendary GP track, Ruskeasanta here in Finland. I wasn't even born when that race took place and still I understand how awesome motocross was back then, wish I wish born in the 80's hahah! Anyway, enjoy guys and nevermind the Finnish announcer, lol.

General Two Stroke Talk / Four strokes are bad, seriously...

Got a text message from my friend minute ago, who said that his Suzuki RMZ 250's EFI had shutted off in the face of a double and he had one of the scariest crashes he has ever had... He said that he endoed tens of meters and somehow managed to stay almost untouched after finally going over the bars. Now that thing is for sale in the internet and he is looking for a RM 250, lol way to go...
