the track flaggers are suppose to stay on the side of the track which ever side they choose to flag from IF he was even a flagger at all I didn't see any kind of a flag in his hands the only time flaggers are to cross the track is if someone goes down and they have the caution flag in there hand and waiving it.

General Two Stroke Talk / Maybe not the bikes but the Tracks?
« on: June 02, 2012, 06:18:11 PM »
When everything was in the 2 stroke era the tracks were more tamer but when things changed to the 4 stroke the tracks changed too! Everybody I guess figured that with the 4 strokes making more power that the tracks had to changed and everything had to be bigger. I know it sucks with the bigger triples and the other jumps being bigger also BUT atleast they haven't changed the the corners into man made hard packed burms or hard packed half bowl turns. Some of the local tracks here in my area have done just that with the corners and personally I can't stand the man made hard packed burms or the hard packed half bowl turns. Let the burms build up as the racing goes on during the first moto's then during intermission take the dozer out and level them back out for the second moto's. I still race and jump the jumps as long as I'm comfortable with them If not I'll go over the jump to one side or the other and stay out of the way of others.

I would go with a Wiseco complete crank also......was gonna say the bearings in your case look like they might be froze/rusted/burnt up if they are the noise you heard was most likely the outer bearing race spinning in the case they look like they are pretty well gone good luck on the rebuild

Good Luck to ya Joey! I'm a die hard 2t fan myself and to be honest i don't think that it's going to be all that far away till all the factory teams will be back on 2T'S. And I don't think you are going to be the lone one on a 2T either wish I could help you out but I myself have got bills to pay and a family to feed.

yeah outside sponsorships to help foot the bills? that is true but and I say but are you a pro sponsored motocross racer premixed? we are talking about the average guy the average weekend racer that might even live right next door to you. That likes to go race on weekends at the local track or even yourself can you afford to plunk down $1,200-$1,500 twice a year to keep a 4 T running in tip top condition? If you can then you must one heck of a good job to be able to afford it. If the average guy can't afford to pay that kind of price to keep his 4T running what do you think is going to happen to the sales of 4T'S ? That sales is going to drop drasticly and when that happens then the factories are going to have to do something to make up the money they are losing. And the only other alternative they have is to bring back the 2T'S why do you think you keep seeing all these pro's bringing out 2T'S here lately and racing them? It isn't publicity stunts they are doing you could ask every pro out there what they would rather be racing a 4T or a 2T and I would be willing to bet that 95% of them would tell you a 2T. They are not racing a 4T because that's what they chose to race they are racing on a 4T because that's what there teams and there factories said they had to race. Sorry if I stepped on your toes premixed I'm not trying to start anything but you do have to look at it from a logical side and a cost side of which is cheeper to maintain for the average guy because that is where the sales come from the consumer/public.
