Yes we are very happy with ours.We use the VAN only to pull trailers (or in deep snow because of the AWD),but any other trip goes on the Prius.

Are you recreating a factory 76/77 GS125? Why did you cut the steering head to fit the Hercules/Ceriani forks?

P.S. Looking good!

Remember this will not be a recreation of the standard 72/73 Zuendapp for the museum.I build MY special ISDT replica Zunny in the mid 70s ,wich was  a great bike, and now I try to recreate that one out of my memory.
One of my mods at the time was to install a 35 mm Ceriani Hercules fork matching in length the longer rear shocks anf get away from the thinner and very flexible Zuendapp fork.
Basically I followed my ideas of what would work better on the Zunny, just like I build before in 1970-71 the White OSSA 250 ISDT bike.
I never left any of my bikes in standard condition, not even my modern days KTMs.
I know that the factories could not do all the mods on the marketing bikes because the retail price would be out of the World, and so the BETTER mods where only done to the real factory bikes,a handfull only.

Technical / Will this work?

Is the 110 rod length measured ctr to ctr of the rod ends?

I had great luck when I send my Con.rod problems on our SACHS engines to the company : CVTech in Thetford Mines Quebec.
www.CVTech-AAB.com
I think they can do anything and everything on any engine.
Great in NICASIL plating too....
They deal with WOESSNER piston Germany .

This thing is goin to be one bad piece of machinery! I knew it would look cool with the orange, and with the suspension and motor mods you are goin to have one hell of a bike, top job man, lookin forward to the finished product ;)

me too!! now just waiting on santa in his bigass brown truck to get here

Just a few little things about your KTM.
make sure your coil to the frame has a good ground(after PC.)
The gastap facing to the inside is trick from pros,so you can not exidently knock the taplever into CLOSED position.
From your carb, take the two UPPER breezerhoses, cut them, insert a T connect only ONE hose of the T to a fuelhose and lead that hose into the airbox.(which is the dryest place on the bike) so you have always at least ONE hose to bring AIR to the carb avoiding a vacuum in the floatbowl. If you dont like the ( bloody) TORXE screws, you can replace them ALL with the great M 6ers with the M 8 mm head. Many customers of mine ask me to do that to there NEW KTMs,
Ahhh there are so many more tricks....lol
Oh,your cable under the tank to change the timing ???KTM is offering a switch attachment to be installed to the handlebar. So at any situation you can mod from torque to reving at a click with you thumb. ;D ;D ;D Happy Holidays, and let us know how your Baby is doing....

As long as the reservoir has a shrader valve (and you know how much pressure you want)I refill your shock with NITRO for $ 15.00 :-*

I still do KTM suspension(no mods except bladder in the shocks)
I am using Golden Spectro oils.

Very nice job.
