Just because I'm the curious type-or bored maybe :D
As for me,it's 10:15 pm.I just came up from working on a friends cb400f(resto project).The girls are at guide camp so things are quiet at the moment-except for the coyotes screaming and hollering in the back 40-which,oddly enough,is a somewhat pleasant sound when compared to the wife screaming and hollering at me.Go figure.Anyway,work tomorrow so need to get some more stuff done before bed.Yup,living the dream :-X

Not long back from the nascar at pocono. Not a nascar fan, but figured that I need to see a nascar race run on a big oval at some stage - I can scratch that off the bucket list. Them thar buggers are LOUD. I sat through the Melbourne F1 grand prix a couple years back with no ear plugs and I reckon the 'stock' cars were louder. If not louder, more intrusive/offensive. The turbine track dryers are also loud. There is very little at a nascar event that is not loud.
I also discovered that I did not fit in, as I was not wearing a garish nascar T-shirt. It has come to my attention that there is no such thing as a tasteful nascar T-shirt, they all have full front and back drawings of cars and drivers and flames and checkered flags and sponsors and inspirational words. Subtle they ain't.

As far as I'm concerned, NASCAR died on the day they wrote this car out of the rulebook. And they did it in a way that screams "AMA," too, by limiting its displacement. Funny thing is, even with a 2,000cc disadvantage, someone managed to win one last race with it. :D

Not much here, doing my usual of surfing motorcycle sites and looking at motorcycles pictures (decided to have a beer tonight, not my normal on week days). My wife says most wives' husbands look at porn but all I do is look at dirt bikes ;D .

I've got tons of it saved on my hard drive. Windows tells me my porn folder is up to 16.7GB at the moment, and I shot all of it myself with the helmet camera. There's only two strokes in the entire thing though. In fact, I was planning on making another upload using some of the orgasmic screams we recorded on the last shooting. She was runnin' hot that day!

Mine are similar though I have LS1Tech, MustangForums, ChargerForums thrown in.

SubTexel that,s a bummer heal up fast. I got my 04 cr151 together, I did 4 heat cycles, rode it by my storage, then leaned it out. It runs very strong,lower mid to a sreaming topend, it has alot more compression braking than a stock bore,stroke. I,ve busy working on bikes and getting in shape,teusday I worked on bikes on the blacktop it was 90 and very humid. An hour before dark I went to barids creek, there,s 3 snow board hills and a inner tubing hill, I ran on the cross country trails, did a few sprints too, then ran the tubing hill 3 times, it,s very steep, gnarly, then to subway for a foot long,shower, then to a tiki launge. Wed. alot of running around, work on the mod bike, steam and whirlpool, then bike ride the weather was perfect, had a brew downtown on the fox river, a diff. bar with a launge outside, punkin out-dancing with 2 girls to a Blink 182 song, I fell on a chair,then slammed my beer. I wanted to stay,but if I drank more I wouldn,t make it back to my van. My legs are tired out, I have to cut my mothers lawn today, and do other stuff.

I wish i had the time to do half that!! only time i get on here is about an hour every mornin at 3am before work or on weekend nights when the wifes asleep. im usually buggered after a day at work so its dinner spend an hour or two with me daughter and bed.
Hopefully goin ridin tommorow should be sweet.
anyone got any tips on how to talk the wife into lettin me buy a helmet cam?? ;D ;D

I haven't had much time to ride... Itā??s been a crazy time. Iā??m an accountant, and unfortunately was laid off last December. In March I took a position as a accounting software consultant. This position required that I be on the road Monday thru Friday and home only on weekends. This was fine when the weather was cold, but as the weather turned warmer, it became tougher and tougher... When I was home I was busy catching up on things that needed to be taken care of, and the bike sat... Just to add to the pain, while this is going on, I was also trying to finish my Masters Degree in Business Administration. I am happy to report, that I recently accepted a new job as a Chief Financial Officer so the travel has stopped, and now I get to sleep in my own bed. Also I am happy to report that as of Thursday, I have completed my Masters Degree.
I've already made plans for next weekend to hit a local place for a day of riding. Now that I think about it, I need to go and take the bike around the yard just to make sure it is as I expect it to be....

Pbbffffttttt.What's wrong with you people anyway?Everyone's got responsibilities and such but only a 'tard would let it interfere with their riding.Take me for example;the trusty YZ is now loaded on the rusty F150 and I'm all set to go tomorrow.
It seems like I was only just out-4 months ago.If my luck holds,I fully intend to have the time to get out once more before the snow flies :'(
Of course,tomorrow the wife is going in to work to catch up and my daughter's at a sleepover and I got the shed painted and a bearing in the truck and some work on the wife's car but even if not,I still would have went riding-really,I would :-X

I,vebeen laying on ice since yesterday, 2nd lap sat. I rolled a double to get a look at the washed out landing. I had my back and legs locked straight, thinking the jump is nothing, I instantly got a shock in the back and down my left leg. I broke my back in 3 places,grew bone spurs threw the fractures, and spurs went threw my ruptured disk, that was in 96. I worked on the worlds strongest horizontal drill rig at the time, I spent 100 k of my own money,finally I had a surgeon that studies law,because he,s a terrible surgeon. Operate on my back Oct. 02, it just has me freaked out right now. This weekend is the RacerX vet race, and I can,t get socks on.

I,m still iceing my back and hip,went to a Dr. monday the 1st time since back surgery in 02.So I have pain killers,muscle relaxers,anti flamatories, double up on pills except the relaxers. The racer x vet race is not happening for me, I called the track for over a week, they never answered or called back. I wanted to ask what kind of tire for the track, sand or interm. tire, how many laps for 40a and 35 a, and directions to the track. I was hopeing for a miracle, that I would wake up healed, didn,t happen yet.

A standard comment throughout the posts was that the 4 stroke was easier to ride fast. ???
Has everyone in this world got lazy or what ?
I thought that to win races you had to train hard.
I keep hearing about all the injury's today.
Think it might have something to do with kids going from 85's to 250F's and forgetting what they learned from riding smokers ?
MX is dangerous and if you become lazy you will get hurt :o

TMKIWI I think you're right about MX being a dangerous sport & you definetley have to train hard & NOT get lazy so you won't get injured! With that said I beleive that the 4-strokes are making alot of the mx racers lazy because anybody that has raced or even just rode both 2-strokes & 4-strokes should know that the 4-strokes are like a lazy mans bike.You just put a 4-stroke in 1 or 2 of the gears & ride pretty much in the same gears all day long! It's boring & would pretty much make anybody lazy...!
