Hello, I've bought a 2003 cr125 this past summer, I rode it for 2 days and checked the piston because there was low compression, I found out the piston was fried, I finally just bought a weisco top end kit and installed it. I filled the bike with all new oils(Coolant and trans). I put a brand new plug in it. Started it up and started 2 kicks later, ran perfect, but there was still low compression. I started the break in process, but when I was putting around the backyard the old chain snapped. I put the bike away and it sat in the shed in 30-20 degree weather, it finally warmed up abit and I finally got a new chain, the bike would not start though, I kicked and kicked, choak on choak off, it just wouldn't turn over, close but would not start, I put fresh 32-1 gas and honda pro oil in the tank before hand, I cleaned the carb and air filter, tried starting it again, won't start, I kicked and kicked for 45 minutes, nothing. Any help will be great. Very frustrated and don't want to bring it to a shop

try a new plug. some race fuel cant hurt either. i mean if it ran when you parked it there is no reason that should not fire again. look for clogged jets and fouled plug.

Try putting a rope round the bars and ont the towbar of a car and bump it that way. I've had bikes that wouldn't start on the kick before but when we did that they usually fired and would be fine after that.

If its been parked up for a month or more I'd try that, if its only been a couple of days then I presume something must be up with it.

Yeah, I would first check for spark, if you are finding spark, then bomb start it. Get a friend to push you down your street and pop the bike into first or second. If that does not work, and you for sure have spark, then check to see that the cylinder is getting fuel. Rebuild the carb maybe, it isn't too expensive. Last thing I would do, or it could be the first is do a compression check. If you have a brand new piston and ring, then it is likely a worn out cylinder.

X2. First check the compression and if you don't see at least 150 PSI with that fresh piston, then something is wrong. If that checks out, pull the plug, spray a little raw gas in the cylinder, put the plug back in and give her a kick. If the CR fires then the problem is fuel, if not, as stated, check for spark. ;D
