From what I've seen, many young people these days can't make change, let alone decipher ml,cc,litres,US or Imperial gallons or anything else.Simpler is better.
I'm more precise than most.In my 10l jug,I put in about 3 glugs of oil. :D

Stuff like this is why the metric system is so good. You don't even need a calculator.

how ironic then that that just happens to be the stupidest thing you've said on this forum. That I've witnessed anyway. What I find most curious though, is how I apparently say immensly stupid things, and how often I find myself in agreement with you.

my 250ktm has a see thru tank. When it "looks low" it takes about 2 gallons. I have a little plastic container in my fanny pack to hold oil. has the perfect amount for 40:1 at 2 gallons.

"Fill 'Er Up Please!"

4 ounces of oil to 1 gallon of gas = 32:1 , how much easier can it get

I guess I still go back to when I was just a youngster.  I was taught to use a one gallon container, fill it full of fuel, add the prescribed premix, (i run three ounces around 45:1), shake it to get the mix through the fuel, and toss it into the bike.  I always get the same mix with this method, it's fool proof, even I can't screw it up.    ::)

5gl of gas: 12oz of oil. 52:1 No math at all. Golden Spectro oil comes in 12 oz bottles and gas cans hold 5gl of gas.
