Well guys I have qualified for the Amateur Arenacross Championships in Las Vegas May 3rd-5th. I qualified in the College boy and Pit Bike classes. My employer has given me the days off I need to attend. This will be my 1st amateur national of any kind that I have ever competed in. I'm training hard and trying to improve everyday. Thanks to everyone who has helped me get to where I am now. Especially my Dad and my sponsors.

Congrats Monster YZ5 , should be a fun race. Have your suspension guy revalve for arenacross whoops. That,s the hardest thing to revalve for, factory connection revalved my cr125 for arena type whoops. The forks are perfect, I played with the sag and comp a little on the shock. IMO the whoops are the best place to pass in arenacross, get your suspension valved for them and you,ll be BLITZING them. Arenacross pro,s will test 8 shocks in a day, just to give ya an idea of the time it takes to get dialed in. Good Luck

Lol that's what i get called all the time when i ride out of state.
I have race tech gold valves and fork springs on my bike right now. Iv never had a complaint about my shock but it also has gold valves with the stock titanium spring.
I will be sure to get some pictures up soon.

Well guys the trip was fun. I got 5th in the pit bike class and was running about 7th in my collegeboy main then came up a little short on the finish line double and had a pretty hard crash that tossed me over a berm. I'm ok though with just a few scrapes. I ended up finishing 12th in that class.

You finished, you're not hurt bad, and you had fun, I say you did a great job! What kind of pit bike do you ride? are 2 strokes allowed in the pit bike races?

No 2 strokes are not allowed. Only 4 strokes with open cradle frames. My bikes a klx110 with a 143 big bore, race head, 28mm carb, 65 forks and rear brake system, and extended big bike style swing arm and shock.
