i have a 2011 yz250.does anyone know if the newer style front yzf 450/250 fender will work on the yz 250.love the look of the new fender and just wanted to see if it would mount up.thanks in advance

I just put the 2010 F fender on the 2001 project bike.
You will need to drill new holes in the fender. I layed the 2001 fender inside of the 2010 and marked the holes. Worked great.

I thought that fender looked like the newer style.thanks i think im in the market for a new front fender now...

What year front # plate did you use to match the fender Charles?

Cycra is now making the new style fender for the 2Ts (and older 4Ts).  It comes in Blue, White and Black.

On my 03, the stock plate actually looks good with the new front fender. I layed the 03 fender on the 2010 F fender upside down so it looked like this

Then started marking holes and drilled.

Cycra has 2010 yz-f guards with the yz 2 stroke hople pattern for sale for $22.95

That looks real nice. I would love it if Cycra do that for the previous-generation RM's too.  Check'in em out now.
