Nice article.
I've been looking for a normal sized version of this article.
Great stuff!!! :P ;) :D

awesome write up
-
That was pretty cool, he pretty much summed up the way a lot of people have felt after being bitten by 4pigs...
-
Someone posted this on my local dualsport forum yesterday. It's good stuff.

Yes that is a great article, I read it when I got that issue of MXA. My wife was trying to talk to me about some B/S and I totally tuned her out. lol
My Buddy' son wants to trade his 125 for a 250 turd stroke, so I handed him that magazine and said please read, if you think you're having a hard time with that 125 just think about the cost of maintainence on a 250 fourstroke

I find Willy's comments about how he feels the 4T revolution has damaged the sport to be very illuminating and I wonder how many other riders of his caliber secretly have the same opinions?
A friend once owned a WM ATK 406 and I still remember riding that bike. ;D

I see what you're saying Sachs but I feel like right now it's something closer to damage control. Four strokes have damaged the sport enough. There's not much that one person can do now that will make it any worse. He's just saying four strokes were fun to try something new, but not something he wants to stick around.

I love it!!

That's a wicked story!!!
Some of us never went to the dark side Scotty ;D ;D( even though I raced a few 4 stroke loaners, Paul Clarke
remember him, geez that was a long time ago)

This seems a little better write up than the last one. While MXA has done good on its write ups it still has done nothing to actually help this issue with the AMA, or bike tests, or provide and 2-stroke support to any aspect of the sport. I have my own opinions, but when they start having complete 250 tests and providing support to bake up their words, they are nothing more than just clanging brass.

It would be cool if TSM did a 250 shootout. If members would be willing to loan some bikes.
-
for all riders on top of theyr career at this moment, it's all about winning, and 4s is the bike to have. but when they stop racing for a factory team all of them will feel the need to have fun while racing, so 2 strokes come to theyr life.
thats why a watch carmichael's video so many times because he says "reaaly fun to be able to come here and ride this old two stroke"
sometimes i think that my bike is too old, and it's one of the slowest bikes arround, and should by a new one, even a new 2s, but f-it, this one never let me down.

Yes.
If it's possible, as stock as possible.
If you can find enough equal original bikes, as straight from stock out of the dealers floor or crate...

well you can count my "endo'daline" KX250 out, he he
