This is really cool. Probably a repost, but I don't care :D :P :

Steve McQueen was a class act and we lost him far too soon.
I think some of the upper management people at Honda need to watch this video. It might remind them of why people ride motorcycles and how they once provided customers with simple, durable and relatively inexpensive dirt bikes like the CR250.
One thing I'll never understand is while the world's largest motorcycle manufacturer produced this motorcycle (27 hp,piston port/non reed induction, points ignition and noisy competition exhaust) a small snowmobile manufacturer in Valcourt,Quebec,Canada produced the Can Am 250 TnT - 28hp,quiet street legal exhaust, rotary valve induction,CDI ignition and automatic oil injection. It's amazing how much more advanced the Can Ams were then the competition.
P.S. Gotta love the cheesy 70's "canned" music. ;D

I think if you showed this to Honda today, they'd say, "Well this is exactly why we don't sell bikes like that today. If Steve McQueen tried filming that in 2011 he'd be arrested by the BLM in about fifteen minutes!"

Myself and others are waiting for that little Canadian company to put half of one of their 130hp 600cc Ski-Doo motors in a dirt bike.
Would be my ideal Christmas present. ;D
