Here it is guys, the first of your decisions. :)

No orange? I think that'd be a badass theme!
-
i voted red but there should deff be orange or pink it would be really sick if there was
-
I voted black because blue was not even an option; RED? really?
-
Depends on colour of plastics.
Are you going old school Red/White or Yellow/Black.
I like the later. :)
-
I voted for silver, but what would be totally cool would be nickel plated 8) otherwise I agree with TMKIWI about the old school Yellow/Black original retro Yamaha look :-*
-
I painted my KX frame gloss black, it looks great ,but if it chips it is very noticeable. A polished silver frame would be awesome!
-
ok....reasoning for color choices of frame......since its a TSM bike....we are trying to incorporate TSM's logo colors....sorry guys i know charles would have picked blue too...and myself would have totally gone with pink (or orange)....but i picked the next closest to pink and went with red.
-
Silver. We want a flashy bike, right?
-
oldschool... red n white ftw 8)
-
I say black, hoping that you will stick with the blue plastic theme !!
-
Well considering that we vote that as well (probably) I would assume we will pick something to match the frame...
-
Come on red :) Old school colors would suit best and make it stand out as different imo.
-
I vote Black because Blue was not an option.
Why not use the same idea on that kx250 but instead of Red use Blue?

-
I voted for red, I'm a fan of the late 80's and euro Yamahas, I also feel that a metallic red would give it a more modern and trick look.
That KX is nice 8)
-
Black and yellow! The old school yz's were the coolest. Would like to make my YZ yellow but you have to buy the yellow tank to pull it off. That KX is sweet!
-
I don't like the red & white Yamaha's and black with blue looks gross. I vote for a black frame with the old yellow plastic.
-
The problem of the black, silver and blue color frames is that they are common colours.
If you want to be a "neckbreaker" you have to be different. And for that, I think that the red frame should work fine! ;)
And yes, like someone said, you should use metalic colours instead of solid ones!! ;)
-
COME ON RED....i think red frame and everything else blacked out...but like matte black. with white and red little accents...and then tsm black, white and red graphix....but thats just me >:D
-
RED RED RED Come on moderators, change the results :D
-
You know I'm actually starting to lean towards red. Visualizing it just seems so cool. I chose silver to be safe... But red just sounds out there but trick looking for sure!
-
I didn't pick red, but I think a Red frame and hubs, with black plastics and the TSM graphics would look sweet.
-
A red white and black inspiration:

White and red...

-
X2 - White and Red
-
woooohooooo....charles i think red might be winning it...COME ON RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you guys should just let a girl design it...we always make things look better than a guy can :D
-
I like the old Hurricane stuff but maybe with a post modern twist to appeal to the youngsters or those of us still young at heart. It wouldn't hurt my feelings any if the theme turned out to be a modernized version of the red/ white scheme either. Either would look sweet.
-
I have the 250 version of the 1990 yz125 above. I sure wish my forks were still that deep of a red, but it is 21 year old anodizing.
-
here's my quick rendition :D
-
I would however suggest red hubs w black rims,
-
I vote Black because Blue was not an option.

Wow i wish my 2006 kx250 looked like that. Its different but looks really sharp.
-
It has nothing special my friend. Just a good paint on the frame and triple clamps. All of the rest is OEM.
-
When I voted red that kx was what I be in mind. My first bike was the red and white pee wee 80
-
voted red
thinking red frame and shroud like the 86 model
-
Red is almost there!
-
'nother red vote here. .. I just like the idea of it standing out and getting some much deserved attention.
-
Is this an aluminum frame YZ? If so how much for a polish instead of silver paint if steel frame I still say nickel plate 8)
-
It's a steel frame, I'd be down for Nickel Plate. But I'm not ok with the cost of it. :)
-

How much does it cost?
-
Red frame, with white or black plastic.
-
I suppose it doesn't really matter what colour she is because she will be too far infront for anyone to see! ;D
-

How much does it cost?
I'm not sure, pretty expensive I'm sure, plus shipping both ways to whover can do it.
-
Chrome would be cool, but then there's the upkeep on top of the price, lot's of nooks on a frame that would be hard to get to with polish/protectant.
-
come on red two more votes!
-
Can I change my vote? I voted black, but in fact i think i want red! :P
-
I voted black as well, but want red. I have it set so you can't change votes.
Should I make it so you can change your vote?
-
id say to make it so you can change votes because i also voted black but after seeing that kx250 id much rather have red
-
Yeah I think we should be able to change our vote. After all it is supposed to be what we want in the end. Right?
-
Ok, guys. You can now remove your vote and change if you would like. :)
-
This bike is going to look so sick with red and white.
-

Yes, Charles, For sure!
-
Fixed! :P
-
like ive been saying....COME ON RED.
-
This bike is going to look so sick with red and white.
If that is the color scheme I need to change my vote from silver for the frame :D
-
That is just the color scheme that seems to be paying out so far. Red/white/black
-
Looks like we got a red frame and a black sub. :)
-
exactly what i was hoping for.
-
Looks like we got a red frame and a black sub. :)
Nice.
-
I didn't even see the poll for the sub frame.
I woulda voted raw if it was aluminum.
Hmm, MAybe somebody could round one up and donate it to the project.
-
It is an aluminum sf. :)
-
oh....
-
I vote Red w/white plastics. ;D
-
Ok guys we are doing red, now..
We have several shades to choose from, the same red will also be used on other small parts.
http://www.eastwood.com/hotcoat-powder-coating/powders/red-powders.html (http://www.eastwood.com/hotcoat-powder-coating/powders/red-powders.html)
I have 'Red Wagon' here, but we can do any one you guys want. :)
Anodized does look good, but it shows flaws and is a harder application.
Let me know what you guys think!
-
red wagon definitely
-
the regular red if it can be anodized. if not then red wagon
-
Red Wagon looks good on my screen!
-
Even though I like the metallic and the anodized finish, the red wagon would go better with the TSM logo and be easier to touch up as required .... I think ???
-
Anodized Red!!!!
What other small parts are you thinking?
master cylinders, calipers, clutch perch, triple clamps, fork stanchions, axle blocks, handle bars,? I know powdercoat is usually thick so I'm trying to wrap my brain around it.
Oh yeah, what are you going to do with the swingarm??
-

Cylinder head :)
-
I think a ceramic coat on the head would be more performance oriented, that stuff soaks up heat
-
There will be a poll coming for the swing arm, I'm trying to decide how to let you guys pick the colors, etc for the small parts.
It would be way too many polls
-
it would be cool to polish the swing arm
but it would also be cool to powder it the same color as the frame
:-\

Just use your judgement Charles.Your taste seems to run about the same as the majority here. :)

I say do as ford suggests and use your judgement, or lump all the parts into one poll with one color choice for all the stuff.
-
Once i get the parts from the newest, yet to be named sponsor I'll photo all the parts I'm going to powder.
I'm sure we will be on the same page. :)
We have been debating about the swingarm. I was thinking powder, then I remember seeing a few powder coated swing arms that looked like crap from rocks, etc.
You guys ok with me polishing it out? Any other suggestions?
-
If it were billet a natural hard anodize would look good and be tough, but......
I think it should match the sub frame and triple clamps if it's not going to match the frame
The swingarm on my KX is powdercoated silver from the factory, it's holding up well and I ride woods.
Also to consider are you going to put swingarm graphics on it? If so they will protect the finish
-
I guess I'll throw a poll up for it?
I do agree it would look good matching the black clamps, and sf.
Yeah, the graphics from Illusion will have swing-arm decals.
-
sweet :D
-
Pink would have been awesome, the ultimate alternative choice aha. Not afraid to be different and two stroke :)
