I have a Gilera 125 mx in my collection and it is a bizarre bike, 280mm straight axle forks, rotary valve induction, no primary kick start and gobs of screeching top end power. I have owned this bike for about 8 years and could not find any info. on this bike anywhere, I didn't even know what year it was. Very recently I was on a vintage parts site and I found a photo of the Gilera - it is a 1979.

The ignition was shot and I could not even identify the manufacturer, but I was successful in remachining the taper on a Motoplat flywheel and was able to get the bike running.
