I can not find out where the rebound adjustments for the front forks are. I know how to adjust the compression but i dont know how to adjust the rebound, I mainly just dont know where it is. I keep reading that its at the bottom of the fork. Is it on outside of the fork or do i have take apart the fork to adjust it.

Should be similar to this:

Thats where i thought it was. I looked and there is no clicker like the one in the pic.

Make sure there's not a plug over the hole. I am not familiar with the newer KX's but know Kawasaki in the past put black rubber plugs in the holes to keep them clean.

I have an 07 KX 250. There is a grey plastic plug on the bottom you have to pry out. How much do you weigh? Riding level? I have taken a lot of time to adjust mine , I may be able to give you some pointers.

I think i weigh around 180 with all my gear on. Riding level i am assuming you want to now how good i am. I would say i am a novice.

KX-Rugs
I found the rebound adjustments. Thanks for your help. Do you have any good pointers on setting this bike up. I keep reading that the back end is to high giving it a tendency to want to wash out in the corners.

that is true, there should be eight a black or grey plastic plug that you'll need to remove to access the clicker

Leave the rebound at stock!!!!! it's perfect, Depending on what you ride,
Offroad, fork setting comp 22 out from fully seated clockwise
rebound 11 or 12 out from fully seated clockwise
shock low speed comp 22 out
high speed comp 2 1/2 turns
rebound 11 or 12 out
moto stock within two clicks either way
you need softer springs for your weight, the kx is sprung stock for a 200 lb rider.
also change your fork oil, the stock fluid is utter garbage.
How do I know ????

oh yeah and the sag is variable I set mine at 93mm thats 5mm lower, doing so lowers the rear of the bike thus giving more rake, or you could say it makes the front end not as steep and more stable, drop your fork legs flush with the clamps too this will also add more stabilty

Thanks for the info. When basketball season is over and ill be able to ride again ill use the settings you said.
