Has anyone on here had anything to do with cobra 65's ?
I'm in the market for a new 65 for my son.
They are avaliable here in Australia but you don't see alot at the races and I'm not sure why, they are competively priced against ktm's and are always at the pointy end of the field so the low numbers are a bit of a mystery. Do they
have a reliability issues or something ??? Oh yeah and they look s#%t hot.

Honestly until your post I didn't even realize Cobra made a 65. The 50's were very popular here for awhile in that class. But the 65's around here are all KTM with a few KX's thrown in.
I just went to Cobra's site and it is a mean looking 65 with good specs. If I was in the market for one I think I'd be giving them a serious look.

To answer the original post the Cobra's are great machines. Very, very fast!! They are full on race machines and like any full on race machine they require regular maintenance and replacement of parts.
I'd imagine that the Cobra's in Australia are kind of like the TM Racing machines in the USA, misunderstood and rare. This does not make them bad choice, but some folks are afraid when they don't see a dealer carrying the bikes and parts nearby... even if they never step foot in that dealership to buy a bike or parts... still trying to figure that thought process out!! ??? ???
Cobra makes super fast mini racers... most of the very serious competitors in the USA use these machines.
