.........the parking technology is absolutely ingenious! 8) 8)
I love ideas that use technology to address challenges. Now I would imagine that some of you have not grown up or lived in a big city, but for so many places in the world, this is a fantastic way to handle a large number of cars in a parking lot.
If you've ever had the "opportunity" of handing your car keys to a parking attendant that looks strung out and wild eyed, you know what I mean! LOL

What happens if your car is bigger than the parking spots? What if you pull in there with a '69 Charger Daytona, will they just say "Sorry sir, but this thing is just to big."? Aside from having a great that's-what-she-said moment, I'd be kinda pissed. Vertical clearance seems low, too, does nobody over there own a truck?

Strange. I live in Russia mostly and women from eastern Europe and Russia are much prettier then the rest of the world. Also more women then men here. :D

Things like that are common place in Japan some fully automated, just about every Hotel I stayed in had a 'ferris wheel' style car park that was as high as the hotel.

I was thinking the same thing as Jetz. I know few people own trucks, but I had a friend from Europe and he said small SUV's are fairly popular. One of those even would get crushed with that low ceiling height, LOL.
It's very ingenious, but doesn't seem like a solution for everybody, just those with small to mid sized cars only.
And yes, the girl was very attractive.

You can say that again :).
But what is the advantage of such a parking system compared to a regular underground parking lot? No doubt it is much MUCH more expensive to make, and you have to wait for your car for up to 4 minutes to arrive. Does it save really space? Maybe the cars are packed together a bit tighter but I don't believe it could make a big difference, and the space required for all the machinery and computers probably occupies quite a bit as well. What do you guys think ?

Yeah that,s what I call advanced parking. There,s some pretty wild underground warehousing in the USA also. Like the underground caves in Missouri, there,s a bunch of them, including the largest underground warehouse in the world. There old lime stone mines, people in offices, and alot of trucks, I have some pictures, next week I,m getting a different lap top, then I,ll try to post them. I missed the super bowl 2 years ago, because I was waiting to get loaded in a cave, tv,s don,t work in a cave. Ps I,m new here I found the site 2stroke Mafia, on 125mx, and this site is AWESOME. I just quit driving, need a break to get healthy. I started buying mx mags in 1976, Bob Hannah and Marty Tripes were my favorite riders. I have a 04 cr125 stroked and 2mm overbored, overbored wasn,t my idea. I,m waiting for the cylinder to be replated. And just picked up a very low hour 06 cr125, for a practice bike. It,s super great to finally have the time to get into the site. A track in Wisconsin called Aztalan, is talking about a 125 vet class race this weekend, too bad I don,t have anything ready, there,s riders interested and there trying to find a 125. The Aztalan track just outside of Madison, gets good turnouts 38 or 39 in 40 plus, in the last race, 40 plus is a cash class also. I doubt the 125 vet class will happen, this weekend there,s only a 1 day notice.

Yeah I know, never been to Russia, but Holland 3 times, England, Belgium, Germany.
There was lots of sexy women over there, tall skinny, always wearing tight pants ;D
