I was doing some racing at Washougal yesterday and caught my leg on the ground when I was scrubbing a tabletop and broke my left ankle as well as tearing my ACL and several legiments in my ankle..... I am in a cast now and will be until Washougal but as of now I am still planning on racing it one way or the other...... :-X Lesson learned here = don't scrub the crap outta a rutted lip no matter how bad you want to make the pass! :-\
I rode 5 more laps after I did it and then the pain became too much and I had to pull off only to find out it was quite a but worse than it felt. Oh well though, like I said I still plan on doing the 2-stroke proud at Washougal!

OUCH!! Get well soon... and get that two-stroke back out on the track.
All the best.
-
That stinks man, get well soon, get that thing out there!
-
Thanks guys!

Ouch. Sorry bout that buddy. Gotta stick it to win it though. Heal up straight and fast.
-
Don“t mess with ACL injuries, they suck big time trust me I know. Dont do anything stupid if your not enough healed, ok?
-
Bummer, best wishes for a speedy recovery!

I know ACL's are bad!I have already had reconstructive surgery on my right leg. Acl, mcl, pcl, lcl, removed meniscus and I don't even remember what else. It was very lame and I still feel it every day but puttin a 2-stroke in the nationals is important to me.

That sucks, at least ya still positive about the whole thing, stick to it we all know you will do us and the smoker proud ;D
-
I broke the Talus (I think that is what it is called) bone and tore the ACL, plus a pretty good sprain to the ankle. I will be at Washougal one way or the other!

Watson as much as you don't want to hear this, (or read this) make sure you are properly healed before jumping back on the bike. The last thing you need is to do more damage which could set you back even further. Get healthy and come back strong...
-
I know what I should do........ ;D I have broken alot of body parts and most of them have healed up fairly well! HAHA Thanks for the input though it is appreciated!

Sure Watsy, we hear ya... you may know what you "should" do, but will that be what you "actually" do.... :P Take care, and get healthy...
