Title: MXA July issue
Post by: TMKIWI on June 27, 2010, 04:35:59 PM
Has anyone seen the july issue of MXA ?
The covers headline is
"Looking for the best bike ever made ? Twice the power per CC & half the cost "
There is a picture of a Pro Ciruit KX125 on the cover.
There is another article titled " BIG MISTAKE Who killed the 125 class ? Will it be back ? "

Sounds like an issue for all 2 stroke fans.
We dont get the mag down here so if anyone can fill me in it would be great.
Thanks

It's interesting to see how the mags are now touting the 2t as such a great thing yet when the 4t's came out, they were saying the 2t is dead in the face of obvious 4t superiority(look at your back issues from a few years ago)
In fairness though,MXA has, imo, always given the pro's and cons of both right from day one-the others are just doing yet another about face.

Yeah, this was just a bike that the Pro-Circuit guys threw together for no apparent reason.

While I don't like what the magazines did with perpetuating the 4 stroke superiority myth, you have to remind yourself of the old saying...Don't bite the hand that feeds you!  Manufacturers pay alot for advertising so, of course, the magazines are going to stick up for them.  I am also reminded of another old saying, "The creme always rises to the top!"
