what a great weekend , awesome track and some great racing .

Herlings is on another level to the MX 2 field and Caroli is so smooth and fast in the MX1 .

Paulin was the man of the day hitting the big one just about every lap , 2 others hit it in practice but they didnt do it in the race

did they have more than 20 riders in mx1? and more than 30 riders this time in mx2?

first round they could barely fill the gate with both classes combined

that whole system needs to change, the riders NEED compensation from promoters :(

true twosmoke, but the europe regulars that make up the back half of the field can't afford to go to the fly aways and the local pro's are not very good at all.

i completely understand, you would think that the promoters would want as many riders as they can get. It seems their mindset is that if there are 15 riders then "that's good enough for a race"

classic keeno, looking behind him.
one would think, but to me its a youthstream money grab. loungo insists that it is inparative to have these rounds. i feel that other than Brazil, these rounds don't have the fan base to support this claim. there is something to be said about atmosphere at a race and only going by what i see from the live feed, is that these obscure countries do not have it. i am in favor of a european world championship where the hosting country can provide the wild card riders. so you may have two rounds in britan, nederlands, belguim etc. at least it will have the electricity these top events should produce. i also wonder why oz or nz don't have gps or even canada. these fly aways would work . almost forgot japan.

Because we wouldn't pay the bullshit promoters fee.

1 to 1.2 million euro to put the race on , as we had talks with them on the weekend about running a round here in indonesia after the thai round . if they will accept tobacco sponsorship we can raise the funds no problem . lets see where it goes . They may be expensive but they do, do it well they send 3 guys to build the track a month or 2 before so they know its up to standards and the media room etc etc is very impressive .

They dont run races for free its a business and no one goes into business to loose money .
