I know a guy who knows a guy whom has a 1973 Honda Elsinore 250 out of crate new, never had gas or oil in it or bars/wheel put on till yesturday. It looks like its a pretty rare classic and my dad says to jump on it, what's this worth? Ill send pics and info after bike is purchased if its worth it
-
double the list price only. its a dirt bike for crying out loud. my opinion ofcourse.
-
I would go 8-10G, if it's real.

It's def real I'm on my way to look at it. I'm glad to hear someone would pay 8-10k for it, I def won't lol I don't have that kinda cash. Ill post pics in the am
-
take photos dent, you may not see another in showroom condition.
-
if hes gone to the trouble of never putting gas or oil in it, Id say he would have a pretty good idea of what its worth...
if you can successfuly low ball him I will assume you used a jedi knight trick

They are barely worth scrap value, I'll do you mate a massive favour and come round and pick it up.......for FREE and just to show you what a top bloke I am I'll give him a slab of beer

yuo say BEER 2t?

New in box '73 Elsinore. Its a historic bike (first 2T from Honda). Would not be surprised if the owner wants 10k for it. Bike belongs in a bike history museum somewhere.
-
bike belongs in the dirt.
-
For 10k, I'd ride it once and then put it in my living room.
-
only to throw up devil horns and burn out on the hard wood during repeats of sienfeild i hope.
-
Yeah, climb the stairs and zoom down the halls too.
-
thats a boy! HA!
-
what's this worth?
NADA values museum quality restorations at $7800.
If this bike is legit and is still new in the crate, I
would estimate it's value at $10,000.
I would love to see some current pictures of a brand new
1973 CR250M.

Here's a pic of my 74 when I sold it in 2005... Those handle bars were soooo wide... Check out my "trick" stand.

Yes the exhaust has been changed, I still had the original tires too... (the original exhaust and tires went with the bike)
-
Those are collectors, especially with the vintage race crowd. I would expect that bike, if legit, to go for between$5-$10k.
-
Price would be hard to gauge in the curent economic climate, pre=GFC might have seen $15k or more Think closer to 10 than 5k
-
I would love to see a the bike itself!
If it never has been started/serviced then I really think it belongs in a museum.

-
idk what i would do with a bike like that, probably either dont touch it whatsoever and have it in my house, or ride it a little bit only on special occasions
-
My sons college in20 years lol
I have no idea
-
Man that thing is PURDY!!!!
In 20 years that thing might pay for your kids college.
I know I said it should be on exhibit but I sure would be tempted to put a pint of premix in it and run it around just a tad

I have to say it.....
That bike being owned by a fella named "dentprone" makes me a tad nervous.
