Just wondering if anyone has seen any supposed spy photos or heard any rumors? Is Yamaha gonna do something other than BNG or is Suzuki gonna release the aluminum framed 2-strokes that people were claiming earlier in 2012? I know there were pictures of alum zooks floating around but were those really protos or were they someones bikes that were done by Service or MPS? Anyone.....?

nothing here watson, i'm afraid. but would like to know as well. i think we are amidst a pause in time i'm afraid. we are the rebels.

global recession has retarded development of new bikes. Too much uncertainty in the market to risk it.
I think a slew of dependable 2t's , low cost maintenance and an alternative to 4t's , would boost commerce in the motorsport arena. But it requires an investment and foresight by the manufacturers. Good luck with that....

Heard speculation that sherco were going to produce a direct injection enduro 250or 300 put probly all cloak and dagger stuff on that mabey ktm or husaberg might pull something out of the bag,as to the japanese i reakon theve got so many dollars tied up in there four stroke programme that producing a new glorius 2 smoker would be admitting they got it wrong getting rid of them to start with and who knows what goes on at the political side .

Too right mate.
I'm crossing my fingers for a DFI machine from KTM. Of course I'll almost certainly be disappointed. Some engine mods would be good from KTM and Yamaha. And suspension mods would be good for the katoom too. Yamaha needs engine mods more than KTM but both would be great. Of course its unlikely Yamaha will be jumping on that train. I would like to buy a 2014 125 from KTM but if its only minor updates I'd rather just pick up a later model and save money for when they release an earthshattering design. Or IF.

2014 Maico International?
-
Oh dear god don't start this up again...

2014 Maico International?
You bet me too it.
Unless the FIM & AMA change the rules you wont see anymore Japanese MX 2 strokes.
The European manufactor's mean while will continue to bring out new 2 stroke enduro machines.
That's what I'm guessing.
