The one problem with 2 strokes is that they have such a big exhaust pipe. now i know it looks really cool but they can get dented really easy. especially if you fall. like I did... anyway, now i have a big dent in my pipe and even though it doesn't affect power or torque (from what i can notice) it really affects the look. it looks terrible! any suggestions on how to get that dent out?

You can seal both ends and heat the dent and apply a couple psi of air or a dent puller works as well but you'll have to weld the hole over.

This place does pipe repair and they are really good...
They also have some tips on how you can fix your own.

If you do it yourself please take a before and after photo.

Four-stroke headers are also prone to damage, and they are far more expensive to replace.

It says $60 plus s+h so how much do you think the total cost would be?

The easy way to find out is to call or send an e-mail... that's what I would do.

:D :) :PIt would'nt hurt to install a nice pipe guard on your YZ.I put an E-Line carbon fiber pipe guard on my 300xc.

Be very careful when you use heat to blow that dent out of your pipe - heat + hydrocarbons + pressure = diesel engine.
