Amazing John. I knew that little tiddler was fast as hell, but I never expected such a performance against a full field of 250Fs.
Congrats to Mike.
-
That would have been a fun race to watch... Congrates Mike.
-
well done!
-
It was a very exciting race for sure. The 250 clunkers i mean thumpers were modified. ;D I am looking forward to seeing what Mike can do on that thing with some fine tuning. That race was not only a testament to how good the Tm 2t is but also to Mikes outstanding riding ability.
I wish i could be there for the next race John but i am sure there are many more to come.

offroader - we really appreciate that you drove all the way to New York to hang with us. The way you jumped right in there and pitched in surprised us in wonderful ways. We truly appreciate your help and look forward to seeing you at the track again in the future!!

The photo above shows Mike Leavitt, me, offroader (wearing a cool t-shirt!) and Ricky... we were all checking out Mike's broken clutch lever... tried to fix it, but ran out of time.

This is one of Mike's starts using the YZ250 against the 450F's... it can be done!
-
Wow, that's outstanding! Massive props to everyone involved!
-
Awesome job Mike, represent.
-
is this the TM125 with EFI ?
either way, it is great job done! :D
-
No the TM 125 has a standard carburetor... so guy started the EFI rumor after he read an interview with the TM Racing Team manager... now one at TM has confirmed (or denied) that they are working on an EFI two-stroke...
My illusion was that they would have been testing it at the UEM European 125 Championship, but have not heard anything from someone at the race...
Even with a carburetor that bike is very fast.
-
Next time John..we need some footage... I fucking luv it! :P

even with carb, the bike is already flying.

What are they not racing the TM150? Is it legal in this race?

Yes the TM144 is legal in this series... unfortunately, the guy that ordered the bike ... um me... didn't think it through properly before ordering.
Plus it wasn't until much later that I spoke to Mike about actually racing the machine....
Oh well, he'll just have to beat them with the smaller bike!! :P :P :P
Besides, I can't tell you how upset some of the racers were after being beat by a 125... worse yet a stock 125!! Priceless is the word I would use! 8) 8)
-
Nah, that 125 is badness!. You kicked some major butt. Good job!
-
Glad to see Mike kicking ass on the 125. :D
-
John, the pleasure was mine.Looking forward to the next one.Yes i have the coolest t-shirt period!I wear it with pride.I must say i look pretty good in it also. :P lol
A 144 top would bolt on there in the future. :D
-
Cooooolllll.Congrats guys. 8)

This is not the case! The 144 has different center cases, crank and many other parts... I know... we looked it up!! :o :o
Mainly because we were thinking it would be great if you could change configurations from different race series having different displacement rules.
Honestly we were disappointed in that fact... although it shows that TM believes that the 144 deserves to have a stronger bottom end to ensure that the 144 is bullet proof!
-
You could still likely go up to a 134 though-more is better!I don't know who does that now or if they do TM-maxpower maybe?

Bummer! :(I should have known you looked it up already.
