I quit racing just as the 250f 's came out and only got into it again a few years ago.  I was looking at 250f 's but stumbled on a mint rm250. At this stage I had not heard the horror stories of the four strokes but couldn't pass up the deal on the rm. Everyone questioned the 2 stroke decision so naturally I wanted to see what I had passed on.  It only took a couple of laps to realise 2 strokes are the bikes for me. Just makes riding more fun,  the cost is a bonus

"By the end of that race, I had transformed from a four-stroke bus driver into a real motocross racer again."

That says it all right there.

Thank you for the link. Really picked me up after getting the news of not being able to make the last race of the year.
