If some of you remember a while back, I was looking for reasons why 90's bikes aren't up to par so to speak, and I was told suspension and frame. I already got the Noleen rear shock so that left the forks to update a bit. Got the KYB forks on and tested them out in the woods, haven't hit the track with them yet, unfortunately that may have to wait for next season. But as far as improved handling, it is a little different, corners a lot better. As far as superiority to the older SSS, I hit a rock the size of big pumpkin and I didn't go over the bars, so its good in my book. I can't wait to get them out on the track and see what kind of new goodies they will unlock. But so far so good. The only original thing is my frame
And because some of you believe in the "pics or it didn't happen"

Cool. What did they come from originally?

I believe it was an 08 450f, it might have been a 250f though, also not sure on the year.
-
Wow full shot pics would be cool.
-
They wont be too good, this camera sucks
I will get some up as soon as I get hold of a decent camera hahaha. They honestly don't look to much different than my showas, just like a little darker and a bit taller.

Good score on the forks, how much ? I asume your using the triple clamps from the f-st. Reason for all the questions is, someday I would like to build a 92-95 yz125 a Emig or NCY replica bike.
-
That replica bike would be cool
When are you going to start a build thread?
The forks I actually got for free through the miracle of a four stroke going boom. But I have seen part outs online that want about $100-$200 (depending on year and condition of forks) here in the states.

Free forks can,t beat that, the online price is good too. I,ve been looking for a 95 yz125 for a while, I never see them forsale online. I check craigslist for my old 95 ncy 125 and 97 noleen bikes in the areas where the guys lived. No luck yet, the 95 was Pedro Gonzoles,s supercross bike, I was surprised to see a mag. linkage still on it. When I had it shipped to me in 96.
