Picked up an '04 RM250 today to replace my '01 CR250 that was stolen in June. I've been riding my '85 KDX200 pretty much everyday for at least the last 6 months, I commute to work cross country all week
So after my first ride today I realized it's going to take awhile to get used to the ergonomics of a modern dirt bike, but since this is going to be my new daily rider it shouldn't take too long

cool, my friend has an 03 and had a hell of a time jetting that thing hope shes good for you.

You ride to work cross country on your dirtbike? Thats... Interesting.

Nice ride, don,t give up on your 01 it might show up yet. I had a bike stolen years ago, 8 months later I got it back. The cops kept an eye on the thieves, was called operation KAT. They stole anything you can think of boats, trucks, sleds, trailers, etc. Must be kind of hard to talk on the cell phone and watch youtube, like other folks going to work. haha

Well sorta cross country, take off from home and cross the street to the dessert then through a warehouse parking lot and on the shoulder of the road the rest of the way. Take's me about 6 minutes door to door if I don't detour down any trails. I've got vids but can't upload to Youtube.

I haven't gave up on it, it's been about 4 months now. In July we have to start registering our OHV's here in Nevada, hopefully someone tries to register it.

Or sell it. That way you can find them, pose as a buyer and nail the a$$ holes before they know what hit them. Someone came into the shop one day and had a really expensive street bike stolen. A year later he found it online, posed as a potential buyer, checked the serial numbers and nailed them. Hope it turns up, but nice RM too
