you can't buy one, at least not from service honda or MPS services. they wont sell it to you, they want you to get them to do it.....for 1500$. They'd get a lot more business if they sold them with instructions.

then when one of the installed wishbones break, it will be SH or MPS's fault.... not the backyard or "certified" welder's fault... this is why they don't sell kits.Way too much of a liability in safety as well as business.(at least in my 2 cent opinion)

While were taking af's why do people use 250f's? Is there a disadvantage to 450's? I ask bc I got a buddy selling a crf450 frame 4 $40 and I was thinging of picking it up for an af project.

I have seen those y`s for sale on ebay and either http://www.bannedcr500riders.com or http://cr500riders.com

my AF is in an 03 CR125 chassis. I have ridden them with the 4 stroke chassis and the gen 3 250 2 stroke chassis and I feel the 125 is a better handling package. It is a lot more work to mod though.

The 450 frame will work fine. The CRF250 frame is about the size of a CR125 frame
and that makes for a nice compact package with a bunch of power. I think that's
the appeal - at least it is for me. You think you're sitting on a CRF250R until you
go to start it
Contact Glen Stoffers at 209-480-7900. He sells all the parts you need to convert a
CRF450 for $800.

Yeah unfortunately people are sue happy these days and it's not worth the risk for Service Honda to sell kits.
