I have a new appreciation for fellow TSM'er and club member Helmut Clasen.
Our club recently ran it's annual 6 hour hare scramble, and Helmut finished fifth place in the solo class.
He is 77 years old
I ran in the pro team class, and didn't see him stop once, although he must have gassed up at least twice.
I WILL run solo next season.

Thats cool.

Helmut is an inspiration for us all. He's riding a Sachs Hercules GS6 250, I've owned one since new.

really cool! i've always said my goal is 70 so there is hope after all.

77 is amazing! He forgot his goggles though!
