Original bar mount clamp cracked so I thought I would try a Ride Engineering clamp. It is a billet machined piece and very well finished with no left over machined marks. Minor issues were that the shaft machined steps were located too far down which allowed the stock bottom rubber cone steel housing to bottom out against the shaft step before the cones were tight enough to keep the bars from moving. I placed some thick hardened fender washers between the bar clamp and upper cones to solve the problem. If I remember right my bar cones are original and may be compressed so I'm not sure if this is a design problem or just worn out cones. The stock internal spacers are abandoned and the top cones have to be drilled out to 1/2" because Ride Engineering uses 12mm shafts instead of the stock 10mm. Over all very satisfied!

They look nice, bit of a shame to cover with a bar pad
