Title: Front numberplate from KX250F or 03-newer KX 2t -- can it fit a '02 KX

I put a '07 KX250 2t front fender on my '02 and it bolted straight on.   Before I take a chance ordering a front numberplate and new graphics.. can anyone say if they've been able to fit the newer style front numberplate (like on the new four strokes or even the '03-07 kx250) on a 99-02 KX125/250?
