I have a 96 cr125r, what is the difference between mine and a normal cr125?

hmmmmm, should be the same, some people just leave the second "R" off. I believe there were CR125M models a long time ago

 Unless you have some sort of works bike replica, your bike is a normal cr125 and as long as you mean similar years.

Please advise otherwise or clarify your query so we can "help"

I don't think you understand sarcasm Stu and certainly don't need you policing that on the forum, my answer was genuine.... Perhaps you should spend less time on here jacking up your post count as a 17 year old magazine know it all riding the keyboard and more time fixing your bike and riding that....
