We've had some complaints lately about both language and personal attacks. Lets keep it clean guys. We, the moderators, hate editing (ie censoring) posts, but we do it whenever there has been a complaint or we find an incident. There are very few rules here. Be respectfult to each other and no offensive language or content. Please try to follow them

Can I also just ask that you don't need to be aggressive to make an argument. I think disagreement is healthy, it breeds varied opinions. But its UNNECESSARY to just say something like: Thats bulls**t or whatever. Its not a difficult concept; just state nicely that you disagree. Its a FORUM thats what its for. Not for playing politician and outright calling someone a BS artist

I haven't seen anything directed at me that bothered me or offended me in the least yet. Then again,I like Vital too.
-
Oh don't get me wrong, I seriously doubt anyone could possibly offend me with words. I just prefer a civilized atmosphere...

We really don't want this site to become another Vital. That's the point for the reminder of the rules

omg r u sereus? thy rly say tht on their?
It shames me to admit I'm part of the same species that actually talks like that... But do they really say noob? Really? The origin of noob is a little hot spot of the lowest humankind has to offer called runescape. I think... and its meaning was someone bad at the game
I've never even posted on vital but I'm definitely going to avoid it.

It's the internet. No one should get upset over a forum troll or a know it all, though it is kind of agrevating
By the way, I recently made a vital account and was really shocked to see some of the posts on there. TSM is one of the few forums I use regularly, so I got used to the nice atmosphere.

Exactly and we work hard to keep it that way.
A good rule of thumb is never post anything you wouldn't say to a person's face. Lots of guys get "internet muscles" because that have that thought process you mentioned; "It's only the internet". But if we treat this place like we are all speaking in person and all friends it will continue to stay civil and a great place to spend time

There is nothing wrong with a heated civil discussion, at times we may agree to disagree... we may / could have different opinions, and that's what makes life interesting... but we can and should keep it civil, after all we are all here for the same reason... To throw dirt on Ford...

Sorry Ford I couldn't help myself...

Exactly (the keep it civil part). That was really the first and only rule for awhile here that John established. Now we added the no severe profanity but I don't see any more than those two being added.
Ford is a good guy with thick skin, you don't have to apologize to him

I don't know about the good guy thing but I am thick-headed-that's what you meant wasn't it?
