Johnny Moore clalified 29th on a CR250 2 stroke in the 250F class at High Point   did AMA suddenly change the rules? did AMA suddenly change the rules?

What? Seriously? I'm afraid there is just a typo in the results... Wish this was true tho'.

-
not a typo he finished 34th in moto 1

Thats kinda sad to place that far back with 250 f's on a 250 2 stroke .
-

Johnny Moore is a local around here and rides a Sakai Honda 250f I'm betting that is a typo. I saw him ride last weekend and he was on a 250f here's a pic

Sorry guys its a typo. Saw him with my own eyes a few times on TV getting lapped and he was on a 250f.

Have a look at the vid tmkiwi posted of 250 class racing in NZ. the 250f's are more than competitive with 250 2t's.

Thats for sure, most times youll find , if some dude gets killed by 250f's on a 250 smoker he'll get killed on a 250f also. If someone can ride the pace they will be up front regardless

Right, and its not unheard of for 250f's to pull faster lap times than 450's. HP isn't everything, and when you set up a track that is smoother than hell(Fucking road course..) there is no time for high powered bikes to get sideways, 4t or 2t... In reality, these "modern" $20k 250f grenades are insanely fast, but stock no way in hell.
