Title: Where is everyone racing for Memorial Day weekend???????????????
Post by: Recovered on May 21, 2012, 05:49:50 PM: I am g oing to the Jimmy Weinert facility race, although I am tossing the idea around about going to ECMX instead.

Where are you people going? I have a feeling JWTF will be the place to be on the East Coast. Budds is closed. VMP is closed.

I have prom on friday (not looking forward to it), I have work the day after and sunday is the only day I have to race, which is all I plan to do that day. But seriously, as soon as my final exams are done, I really do plan on heading down south for a week or more so we can have that riding day at budds. I will also bring my completed camera mount If it wasn't raining like it has been for a few days now I would try to get some footage up.

Watching some previews of the stages, this one looks pretty fun IMO. Should be a fun day for sure!

My friend and I tried that once. We were showing off catching some air off the waves from other boats. We were doing pretty good, and then at an almost stand still we tipped over...

Stand ups are awesome white trash machines, and wearing Oakley Blades is mandatory while operating them.

I would love to have one but they are pretty rare around here.

I'd like to get about a 19ft party barge, and just drag my stand up behind it. That would be the ultimate set-up. bbq grille and beers on the party barge. stand-up attached to it. put in my Lowry Park zoo over there off sligh, and just cruise out to tampa bay. beer can island even. i miss the Tampa area sometimes.

Post by: Super Trucker on May 27, 2012, 06:30:27 PM: I went to a pro am race sunday, 1.25 hrs north of Green Bay, a deep sand track with alot of jumps. The racing didn,t start until 12.00 because of 2 big storms that flooded parts of the track. Anyway there was quite a few 2-st, 25a class winner a pro snowcross rider was on a yz250, 250c 41 riders on the 3rd corner a yz125 had the lead with more 2-st in the top ten,than 4-st. A yz125 won a cr125 in 2nd. The 125 jr class had 22 riders, most on yz,s, then about 7 RM,s, 4 cr,s 2 KTM,s. The 250 a class had quite a few 2-st. almost as many CR,s than YZ,s. There was a guy on a 90,s cr125 racing 250c and vet B , he finished around midpack.

Post by: Recovered on May 27, 2012, 08:28:50 PM: I went to Blue diamond, stuggled to get the thing to run all day with a malfunctioning powervalve. chased jetting, but it was a waste of time because the powervalve was the problem, not the jetting. it'll be good for next weekend though.
