Title: Compression adjusted issues (left fork)
Post by: Stusmoke on April 27, 2012, 03:11:49 AM
Hey whats up guys sorry for my inactivity of recent times i've had big internet issues.

Okay so I go to adjust my clicker for my 2001 YZ 250, its the left fork if you are sitting on the bike. It clicks just fine, but it goes on forever and makes no difference to the soft or hardness of the fork. The one on the right is fine, it goes for twenty clicks either way so I know theres something ****y with the left one. I was thinking maybe the bearings in it were stripped? Whats everyone elses though?

Thanks for your time,

Stuart

How many hours since you last serviced the front suspension?

Probably about 10 or so maybe more. I'm not sure when the previous owner serviced the suspension however so its probably more. Im gonna order in a full service manual tomorrow and go from there. From what I've been able to discern from internet searches if its clicking, it shouldn't be the bearings are stripped. Correct me if im wrong though
