Title: RM125 pulling
Post by: Twostrokepower!!! on February 29, 2012, 02:53:04 AM
I have an rm125 with an aftermarket clutch, and when it is all the way disengaged and throttle is applied the bike still tries to pull ahead, What could be causing this? cable adjustment? springs? fluid? im lost! lol

Change the fluid, adjust the cable and see how you go.
I found on my RM certain oils would make the clutch drag.

If everything TMKIWI says doesn't work for you, re-torque your clutch spring bolts to specs. Mine did the same thing and I did that and it was all set.

As long as you're completely disengaged, what TMKIWI said.If it only does it when cold it just sounds like an RM.If it does that warm,ck your cable adjustment, free play etc and failing that,ck your plate thickness and clutch basket for notching.RM baskets are made of cheese.

Yeah i was gonna start with the springs cause i gotta take the cover off anyway, and ill have to change the oil due to that. Then i will check the adjustment too. idk if it does it  cold or hot, i havent really paid attention... but its somesort of after market one...
