has anyone done any tests on this thing?
i was just looking at the website and i cam across this

it retails for 5,999!!!! that's nuts!!! and it comes with a 144 kit as well!!
i think this might be my next bike

that cheap(relatively) i might have to pick one up. wish i knew how it compared though. if anyone has got a test report post it up. As cheap as this bike is its worth investing in this bike and company since theyre still building a 125 and trying to make it better

A guy on vital has the 144 and raves about it. He rides it more than his husky 300 cos he likes it better. He is also something like 6'7 and 270 pounds. I think his user name is nytsmac or something like that. Has a picture of kenny powers for his avatar

there's not really much info about them anywhere, but i looked for a local dealer and i found one about an hour away from me!
i'm definitely going to check it out.

Maybe from the wheel, I know for a fact that the current ktm 150 is around the 41hp range, and that the stock 2012 ktm 125sx has 34.6hp.

man i really want to ride one, ive always thought they were great looking bikes but the mags barely cover husky's much less the 125, i'm definitely going to have to go check out that dealership close to me

They're quite popular around here. The local dealer always has great deals, and I've seen new 125's under $4000. The guys here who have them, love them. I looked at a street plated WR125 about a year ago, but they're so tall, my feet were at least a few inches off the ground on either side. Word is that the motors are very stout.

i've tried to find everything i can about the cr125, and i've come across very little info besides the wr125 link that was given. It's super tempting but i'm not going to pull the trigger until i ride one and or find a very good article on one.

I have been riding a cr 125 for a few months now.
it may not have the midrange power of a tm but it,but as you posted you get a 144 to
turns rely good. and the few problems i had was addressed from 2011 models.
haven`t done much maintenance yet.. but things like changing clip possision and spark plug is so easy on them.
and power valve is easy to adjust too. you don`t need tools on the husky when cleaning filter

have you ridden a yz125 or a ktm 125 to compare it to?
and does it have a hydrolic clutch? i thought i read somewhere that it did

yes i have ridden those
i havent ridden the newer ktm 125s (but it was new)
but the power was more instant on the ktm than the husky
as for handling i can only speak from 250sx experience the ktm follow the lines good but the husky turns sharper
the yz and husky wasnt that far of power wise.
I got the marzzochi so i dont know how new suspension work compare to the yz,
the ktm forks are wired maybe mine isnt set up right, and are nitrogen charged so its harder to service
