Just letting everybody know theres a Two stroke national at Glen Helen Raceway in Ca. sponsererd by MTA & FMF April 11 2010. classes are from 50cc and up with +30'+40'+50 vet classes check it out at Glen Helen raceways web site for more info.        KTM111

For anyone in driving distance this should be a must attend event!!!

I'm going for sure, I may loan my Service Honda to a local pro. The same bike that got the hole shot :o last year at the LA Sleeve 2 stroke race (same track).

i have some friends going and im considering it. i just have to see where im at in another series when it gets closer and decide if i want to miss a race to go to this event. it would be a blast im sure and im really considering it.

I live a mile away, and will be racing in the 250 intermediate and open intermediate. I'll get as many pictures as I can :)

Wonder if any 2 stroke nationals will be here on the east coast this coming year? I live close to the Hi Point & Steel City tracks.  I havent been to a national since 06 and that was Steel City only to see Ricky C finishing out his career rideing a 4 pop. I will only go if I can watch a 2 strokes race no AMA pro races for me as long as there riding 4 pops.

Captain welcome to the site....  I too live near Hi Point & Steel City, and I too have not gone to a race in a few years because of the thumpers.  But, not all is lost, the admin on this site (John Nicholas) is putting together a YZ250  project to race in the MX Pro Nationals, and they will be at Steel City....  yes I will be there to cheer them on...

It's a work in progress, but it contains the Two Stroke events that I know of... do you know of any others?

Great news! I will have to go and hoepfully get a good smell of pre mix.
