Also is there anything in particular i need to look or check for when looking over the rm 250 as i am from a 4 stroke background?
Any information appreciated, Regards Sam

It should have K7 on the Vin number.
K = 200?
1 =1 , 2= 2 etc.
K1 =2001 K7 =2007

10th digit on the vin is the year model. I have an 07 rm, its great. As for problems I have not heard or found anything specific just the general stuff. You won't regret it
